Putting them on
- Stick-on: use a clean, dry wash label and press the label on firmly.
- With Easy2Name stickers, leave them 24 hours before the first wash.
- Iron-on: follow the heat setting on the pack and press, do not slide the iron.
- Belongings: stick onto a clean, dry surface.

Which name labels are best for school uniform?
For most uniform, stick-on clothing labels are the easiest: you press them onto the wash label and there is no ironing or sewing. For PE kit and anything washed hot, iron-on name tapes or sew-on tags are the safest choice.
How quickly will my labels arrive?
Our own washable name labels are printed by us and leave the same day if you order before 3:30pm. Easy2Name labels are made to order by Easy2Name and posted to you Royal Mail first class.
Do stick-on name labels come off in the wash?
No. Our own labels are made to stay on through machine washing. With Easy2Name clothing stickers, wait 24 hours after sticking them on before the first wash so they set properly.
How many labels will we need?
Count what goes into school: jumpers, cardigans, polo shirts, PE kit, coat, bag and bottle. Most families find 40 labels cover a child for the school year.
What can I put on our own labels?
Up to two lines of text, with up to 14 characters a line in bold capitals. Most parents put the child's name on the first line and the class or surname on the second.
Can I use the same labels on bottles and bags?
Yes. Our own labels work on bottles, book bags, PE bags and lunch boxes as well as clothing. Easy2Name also make stickers for belongings that are dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe.
Do you sell a cheaper write-on option?
Yes. The 24 name tab label kit comes with iron-on tapes and a permanent marker, so you can write the names yourself for £3.
